02 October 2008 - Christmas Dinner
Well, believe it or not it is that time of the year again when I start thinking about what date we should hold the Xmas bash.
I have of course provisionally reserved us the best date of the lot this year, Saturday 20th December.
By then everyone will be in the festive spirit (well excluding a couple of humbugs!) and being a Saturday night, most people should be free if they pop it in their diary early enough!
So, I have created a rather tempting menu, and hope that the venue, Melville Hall, and the food will meet with your approval.
This year I have arranged with the help of Tobs, more lively entertainment in the way of a disco so you can get on down and boogie after the meal, if you're not too drunk!
The cost of the 6 course meal, with entertainment and party favours is £30 per person for evocars or IOWCC members.
You can also make a whole night of it by stopping over with Full English Breakfast served until 10am the next morning for just £60 for a double or twin room - again a special price for you guys!
Of course there will be some complimentary wine, as per last year!
